Ruth Ohi | She is the illustrator of more than
40 children's books, including seven of which
she is also the author. She has had the great
pleasure of illustrating for writers such as Joy Kogawa, Hazel Hutchins, Sharon Jennings
and Sarah Ellis. Over the past 18 years, she has enjoyed travelling
extensively to share her work with children, teachers and librarians
across the country. Her books have been nominated for the Amelia
Francis Howard-Gibbons Award, Mr. Christie Award, Shining Willow,
Blue Spruce and Governor General's Award.
