Ying-Yueh Chuang | She was born in Taiwan and came to Canada in the early 1990s. She received a diploma of Fine Art from Langara College in 1997 and a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1999, both in Vancouver. She received a master's degree with a major in ceramics from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) in 2001. She is currently working as a studio ceramist in Toronto.

She has exhibited nationally and internationally in both juried and invitational exhibitions and has been the recipient of many grants and awards. She was the recipient of 2006 Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramists. Her work is found in many public and private collections such as the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, the Canada Council Art Bank, Burlington Art Centre Permanent Collection and the WOCEK Icheon World Ceramic Centre in Korea.
